He was predeceased by: his parents, Rafael Márquez and Bienvenida Olmeda. He is survived by: his daughters, Joangelie Márquez of Meriden, Yanelie Márquez (Antonio Cintrón) of New Haven and Anais Márquez of West Haven; his siblings, Sara Velázquez of Chicago, IL, Edna Márquez (Ismael Torres) of Yabucoa, Roberto of Yabucaoa, Edwin of Yabucaoa, Alberto of Yabucaoa, Rafael Márquez (Melín Fonseca) of Yabucaoa and Felix Márquez (Lillian) of Tampa, FL; and his grandchildren, Angelie Santos, Alex, Yaneisie, Noah and Lex Cintrón (Berenid Rivera). He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home (4 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
