It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony J. DelMonico of New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on January 14, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael DelMonico and Angelina Mariconde DelMonico; his son Anthony DelMonico; his brother Michael DelMonico; his nephew John DelMonico Jr.; his great-nephew Peter Gaudioso, Jr.; his cousin Rocco "Rocky" Bellonio; and his close friends, Dominic Abate and Bobby Whalen.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara DelMonico of West Haven; his children, Jennifer DelMonico of West Haven, Jason DelMonico (Marisa) of Seymour and Salvatore DelMonico of East Haven; his grandchildren, Giuliana, Leonardo DelMonico and Steven Ferency IV; his brother John DelMonico of Branford; and his nieces and nephews, Angelina DelMonico, Ruby Caruso, Jean Dagliere, Michelle Amato, Michael DelMonico, Raymond Gauthier and Paul Letkowski, Jr.. He is also survived by several great nieces & nephews and cousins.
