She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Mack and Roberta Mack; her husband John Young, Jr.; and her son Jaquan Bailey. She is survived by: her children, Praniece Nicholson (Nathan) and John Michael Young; her grandchildren, Zuri Nicholson and Ezra Nicholson; her siblings, Theodore Lloyd (Marcia), Anthony Lloyd, Aaron Lloyd, Lisa Crocker (Joseph) and Cicily Clemmons; her siblings' children, Tameka Lloyd, Melony Rease, Laquanta Brumsey, Jade Crocker, Lovee Clemmons, Kashana Huckaby, Anthony Lloyd, Joseph Crocker, Joshua Crocker, Jacob Taylor, Myles Trimble and Eric Young (Jonalis); her cousins, Tanya Reid Fuller, Kisha Streater, Suzie Jenkins, Pandora Lloyd Williams, Cornelius Streater and Troy Streater; and her close friends, Kendra Griffin and Tishaun Jenkins. She is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Beulah Heights Pentecostal Church (782 Orchard St, New Haven, CT 06511). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
