He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Harris and Katie Porter; and his brother-in-law Robert Pearson. He is survived by: his former wife Bettina Harris; his children, Harold Harris (ShaVonne), Brittany Harris and Nichole Harris; his grandchildren, Aniya Harris and Harold Harris, Jr.; his sister JoAnn Pearson; his stepbrother Sean Cameron; and his sibling's children, Robert Pearson, Jr., Craig Pearson and Rhonda Pearson. He is also survived by family members and friends.

Arnold often gave food and clothing to church donation programs or simply gave them away to people he knew or saw in need.
