He was predeceased by: his wife Candida Ocasio; his parents, Otilio González and Luisa Ortíz; his son Jaime González; and his sister Ana González Ortíz.
He is survived by: his son Benito González (Sugeidi Santa) of Guayama; his grandson Benny Manuel González of Guayama; and his siblings, Judith, Luisa Maria, Haydee (Rafael Reyes), Elizabeth González Ortíz of Guayama, Zoraida Burgos, Maria Yepez of New Haven, Otilio González Ortíz (Wanda) of Cayey, Puerto Rico, Manuel and Felix González Ortíz (Edna Madera) of Guayama. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
