He is survived by: his wife Lizzie Mae Erkard Mitchell; his children, Cathy Kindrick (David) of Montgomery, AL, Patrick Mitchell (Cyrece) of New Haven, CT, Frank Mitchell (Susan) of Hamden, CT and Niesha Morrison of Hamden, CT; and his siblings, Dorothy Watson of Mt. Morris, MI, Lori Bailey of Las Vegas, NV, Tommie Williams and Emma "Louise" Hazzard of Montclair, NJ.
