He is survived by: his mother Lillian Cogdell Tyson of New Haven, Conn.; his daughter Erica Ellis; his granddaughters, Dionna Hill and Deidra Hill; and his siblings, Gwendolyn Tyson, Ethel Tyson, Brenda Tyson-Hill (David), Stephanie Lewis Leland, Flora Hardy-Brown Greenville, Willie Tyson (Dorethea) of New Haven, Conn. and Gregory. He is also survived by Aunts, Uncle's, nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, family and friends.
