He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maria; his children, Michael and Ariana; his father Carmen Savo; his sisters, Stephanie Savo-Smellie (Charles) and Jillian Mostal (Shawn); his brothers-in-law, Paul DeRenzo (Cherie) and Angelo DeRenzo (Nikki); his nieces and nephews, Brandon, Devin, Salvatore, Ariana, Isabella, Gia, Dominic, Dani, Madison and Allison; his mother Theodora Savo; his brother Michael Savo; and his grandparents, Anthony, Noreen Savo (Ross), Theodore and Vincenza Turek (Proto).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. (11 Wooster Pl, New Haven, CT 06510). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Michael McGivney Parish at St. Michael Church (29 Wooster Pl, New Haven, CT 06511).
