We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2024, at the age of 61, Carmeleta Taylor of New Haven, Connecticut passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carmeleta Taylor to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lessie Taylor and Julian Taylor; her daughter Katrina Turner; and her grandfather Rev. Julian Taylor. She is survived by : her children, Jewelle Taylor and Tony Lopez; her grandchild Camren Jones; her brothers, Julian Taylor 3rd, Vern Butler and Todd Taylor; and her partner Rashid Muhammad. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the United House (100 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511-3402). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
