She is survived by: her children, Yolanda Colón of Aibonito, Nancy Lee Bonilla, Sonia Aponte of New Haven, José Orlando Colón (Maribel Rodríguez) and Gilberto Colón (Carmen) of New Haven; her siblings, Aida Ortíz of New Haven, Julia Colón of Bridgeport, CT, Luís Ortíz (Juanita), Ralph Aponte (Margarita) of New Haven and Anthony Ortíz of Bridgeport; her grandchildren, T. J., Katia, Lauren, José Luís, Danny (Reina), Howard (Shea), Matthew, Carlos, Jacqueline, Briana, Veronica, Luís Omar, Michael and Bianca; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Silas, Cece of Coco, D. J. and Howie. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
