She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Jackson and Mary Jackson (Henderson); her siblings, Adela, Maria, Madeline, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Edward, Jr., James and Harold; her son Leroy Edwin, Sr.; and her grandchildren, Charles, Edwin, Jr., Latwana and Musa.
She is survived by: her friend John Smith; and her children, Catherine of Washington, Lawrence Thompson (Shelia), Sharay Thompson, Denise Bacote, Tracy Thompson, Cecilia Thompson and Charlene Anglin (Kaidian). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
