He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Powell, Sr. and Sylvia Powell; his son Charles "Stefy"; his aunts, Karen, Barbara Ann, Shirley Jean and Earline; his uncle Oliver; and his brother-in-law Michael.
He is survived by: his wife Regina Alston-Powell; his children, Chyna, Shamicka and Patrick; his grandchildren, Bryce, Jayce, Naijah and Jovah; his sister Charlene; his sibling's children, Ashley and Tre; his cousins, Oliver, Brandon, Terrell and Kim; his mother-in-law Carolyn; his sisters-in-law, Carrie and Aisha; and his nieces, Joi and Chantel.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethel AME Church - New Haven (255 Goffe St, New Haven, CT 06511). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Beaverdale Memorial Park (90 Pine Rock Ave, New Haven, CT 06515).
