He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Gilliard; his children, Charles Gilliard (Sharon) and Jennifer Gilliard; his grandchildren, Jordan, Layla, Koran, Talicia, Lauren and Justin; his daughter-in-law Valerie Murphy of Pamplico; his siblings, Lula J. Taylor of Laurelton and Willie Gilliard of Melbourne, Florida; and his siblings-in-law, Rosa McKnight of Atlanta, Georgia, Janie Melvin of Queens, Lela McKnight of Greenville and Rev. Tommy McKnight (Sylvia) of Columbia. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
