It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Simms (New Haven, Connecticut), who passed away on July 30, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl B. Richards, Sr. and Gladys Richards. She is survived by: her husband Frederick Simms; her siblings, Earl B. Richards, Jr. and Christine Floyd; her children, Greta Randall and Robert Randall; her brothers, Robert Richards (Donna), William Richards (Sandy), Lynwood Richards and Eugene Richards; and her sons, Richard (Debra), Stephen (Kay), James and Earl Randall. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Paul United Methodist Church (1267 Chapel St, New Haven, CT 06511). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Beaverdale Memorial Park (90 Pine Rock Ave, New Haven, CT 06515).
