He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lacy and Willa Saloon Moore Robinson; his brothers, John T. Robinson and Frederick D. Robinson; and his nephew Bernard DeRenzo.

He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Norbert Lee and Kelley Ph; his granddaughters, Niara of Marietta, GA, Niya and Nadia of Baltimore, MD.; his godson Byron A. Roberts of New Haven, CT.; and his siblings, Willia George of Marietta, GA, Cleta Still of Triangle, VA, Elnora DeRenzo of Chester, PA., Willie C. Robinson Ph, Karl E. Robinson (June), Lonnie Robinson (Debra) of Miami Lakes, FL and Neill D. Robinson of Deborah, DNP. He is also survived by Nine nephews, eight nieces, many grand nieces, grand nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.

During the pandemic, he discovered his love for art and could be found coloring on his phone or doing "scratch art".
