She is survived by: her husband William Lewis; her sons, James Lewis, Jarvell Lewis, Jonas Lewis, JasBlue Lewis and Joseph Eiland; her stepdaughter Toshall Lane; her siblings, Sherry Rivers Brooks (Lloyd Brooks), Denise Wood (DaRon Wood), Crystal Rivers Boyd (Kevin Boyd), Jade Rivers, Michael Hearst and James Rivers, Jr.; her godmother MaryEllen Tatten (Linda Tatten); and her great-aunt Ginger "Jennie" Powell-Forbes. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the New Trinity Temple (285 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511). A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
