It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald James Wilson (New Haven, Connecticut), who passed away on April 26, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Wilson, Sr. and Josephine P. Handy-Wilson; his siblings, Dolores (Odell) of Washington, William Wilson (Ruth) and Harry K. Wilson (Olivia); and his granddaughter Jada Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Batts Wilson; his siblings, Lloyd Wilson, Jr. (Angela) and Arlene Wilson; his daughters, Karen Wilson (Horace), Gail Wilson (Damon) and Donna Wilson-Tilley (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Keith McMillan (Shameka), Samuel McMillan (Angelic), Ronesha Cox (Eric), Ronnie Cox (Jasmine), Nikkisha Wilson, Somalia Henderson, Cory Wilson and Charlene Wilson; and his goddaughter Lorraine Roberson. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, family and relatives.
