Daniels, James Daniels, Raymond Daniels, Joseph Daniels and Jessie Ray Daniels.

He is survived by: his children, Freddy Daniels (Trena) of Hamden, CT, Melvin Daniels of Ayden, NC, Eddie Daniels, Jr. of New Haven, CT, Eric Daniels (Attorney Dana) of New Haven, CT, Robin Higgins (Commissioner Ronnell) of North Haven, CT, Eva Daniels-Smith (Eustace) of Hamden, CT, Andrea Daniels-Singleton (Daniel) of New Haven, CT and Latonya Bailey (Alvan) of New Haven, CT; his sons-in-law, Joe Roach of Grifton, NC and Jonathan Rodgers of Hamden, CT; and his sisters, LouieDale Powell (Jessie) of Ayden, NC, Zarie Hardy (Sam) of Greenville, NC and Geneva Jackson of New Haven, CT. He is also survived by Grandchildren: Thirty Nine (39) Great Grandchildren: Six (6) Great Great Grandchildren; and a host of God-Children, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Matthews Ufwb Church (400 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511).
