He is survived by: his spouse Carmen Rivera; his children, Eddie Ortíz, Jr. of New Haven and Diana Irizarry of East Haven; and his siblings, Nilda Pagán (Eddie) and Luís Ortíz of Providence, RI. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and several loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
