He is survived by: his mother Leona Geraci of New Haven; his son Edward Gene Fernández, Jr. (Jessica) of New Haven; his brother Shawn Fernández (Ashley) of East Haven; and his grandchildren, Edward Gene Fernández, III, Tommy-Michael Fernández and Leileanee Fernández. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
