He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester McCauley and Viola Elizabeth McCauley; his daughter Pamela Vee McCauley-Williams; and his siblings, Dorothy Irene Johnson, Willie Mae Richards, Darnell, Paul, David, Charles, Ralph and Clifford.
He is survived by: his son Franklin Delano McCauley, Jr.; his grandchildren, Kristen Brown and Krystopher Brandon Riley; his great grandchildren, Isaiah Canterbury, Javon Brown, Ashanti Brown, Andre Kroz, Jace Russell and Tayshawn Riley; and his siblings, Ida R. Maloney, Ernestine E. McCauley-Browning (Jesse), Rufus L. McCauley and James C. McCauley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Howard K. Hill Funeral Services - New Haven (1287 Chapel St, New Haven, CT 06511). A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
