With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Georgeanne Flanagan of New Haven, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 9, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Coughlin and Veronica Coughlin (Lipowski); and her sister Antonia Coughlin. She is survived by: her children, Rita Portnoy (Paul) of West Haven, Eugene Flanagan (Kim) of Clinton, George Flanagan (Jennifer Christensen) of East Haven and Scott Flanagan (Nancy) of Raeford, NC; her grandchildren, Dr. David Portnoy (Jennifer Portnoy), Daniel Portnoy, Rachel Flanagan, Jessica Flanagan, Brian Flanagan (Monica Taggart), Kelsea Flanagan, Kyle Flanagan (Hannah) and Megan Flanagan; and her siblings, Roberta Pollard of Stamford, Maureen Coughlin of West Haven and Lance Coughlin of Hamden. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
