She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Olivia Williams of New Haven and Edward Coles of New London, CT.; her husband Albert Sargent; her brothers, Edward, Walter and Leonard Coles; her granddaughter Cyndia Sargent; and her great grandchild Greyson Sargent.

She is survived by: her children, Bubba, Stephanie Sargent of New Haven, CT, Albert Sargent (Zoraida) of Jewitt City, CT and Veronica Kinsler (Jared) of Meriden, CT; her stepson Gregory Goode (Jo) of New London, CT; and her sister Harriet Douglass of New Haven, CT.
