She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Brickhouse-Newton and Lonnie Robinson; her stepfather Sigby Newton (Gene); and her brothers, Curtis Brickhouse, Ronald Brickhouse, Calvin Robinson, Sherman Robinson and Michael Robinson.
She is survived by: her husband William Murray (New York Henry); her daughter Kawana Brickhouse; her grandchildren, Kiley Strong and Tony Glenn; her daughter-in-law Rodicia Glenn; her siblings, Alice Brickhouse (Sonia), Carolyn Robinson, Andrea Robinson, Dianna Robinson, Lonnie Robinson and Anthony Robinson; and her nephew Kenny Brickhouse. She is also survived by 3 great granddaughter, 2 great grandsons.
In 2020, just as a space was secured for the office, the pandemic would end that dream very quick.
Besides her work at the APT Foundation and her own New Lifestyles Women's Group, Janice achievements and awards include: - Research collaborator with Quinnipiac University for Research with Trauma informed programming for Women in Recovery.
