He was predeceased by: his wife Frances P. Freeman; and his parents, Robert J. Freeman Sr. and Volita Pozika Freeman of West Haven. He is survived by: his sons, John, Paul and Mark; his daughters-in-law, Robin, Bini and Heather; his grandchildren, Noah, Jonah, Seth, Caleb, Barrett, Ellery, Logan and Meghan; and his brother Robert J. Freeman Jr. of Hamden. He is also survived by seven godchildren.
