He is survived by: his uncle Bo's; his son John Whitley 3rd (Dana); his grandchildren, J'Ana Whitley, Julian Whitley, Jordin Whitley and Joss Whitley; his siblings, Harold, Chris, Diana, Cheryl, Jessie, Frank, Kenneth, Alethea, Jeremiah, Jonah, Elizabeth, Don Greenlee and Jannette Foster; and his niece Trayshana Spears (Nicole Wright). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins.
