It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Stellato (New Haven, Connecticut), who passed away on October 14, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Anna (Williams); and his brother Anthony Stellato (Barbara). He is survived by: his children, Frank (Betsy) and Wallingford (Stephen); the mother of his children Carmela Sanseverino Shattuck; his granddaughters, Lauren and Joelle Stellato; and his fiancée Christine Carr. He is also survived by his 3 nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. (11 Wooster Pl, New Haven, CT 06511). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael's Church (29 Wooster Pl, New Haven, CT 06511). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the St. Lawrence Cemetery (280 Derby Ave, West Haven, CT 06516).
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Anthony Stellato Endowed Scholarship (https://www.givecampus.com) c/o Quinnipiac University Office of Development.
