She is survived by: her mother Brenda Spruill-Moore (Samuel Short); her husband Samuel Short; her children, Destiny Short, Samih'a Short and Samuel Short Jr. of New Haven, CT.; her stepchild Nataya Short; her sisters, Lapreea Moore of Hamden, CT and Johnisha Dorsey (Ronald) of Hamden, CT; and her mother-in-law Sylvia Short. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, great nephews, great nieces, sister in-laws and brother in-laws.
