He was predeceased by: his sister Kristie Johnson; and his grandmothers, Arie Walker and Corrie Kathleen Johnson. He is survived by: his significant other Lisa McMullen of Hartford, CT; his grandson Willie "Lil Will" Wright, III; his brothers, Cherron McKinnon (Charville) and Chaz Fort of Hartford, CT; and his father Daniel Gibson of Tuscaloosa, AL.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Henry L. Fuqua Funeral Service. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
