He was predeceased by: his parents, Lomon Evans Sr. and Hattie McDonald-Evans; his siblings, Bobby G. Evans (Joyce), Hattie M. Gray and Martha "Perlene" Evans-Tearry; his sons, Anthony "Tony" Evans (Connie) and Adrian "Stevie" Evans; and his close friend Bro. Morant.
He is survived by: his sisters, Mary N. Evans-Gaddy (Charles), Gladys McKoy and Mamie Sneed; his children, Deborah Evans (Ricky), Kerry Evans (Alicia), Darryl Evans (Krista), Beverly Hammie (Eddie) and Barry Evans (Joyce); his wife Geraldine Hardy; his children, Shannel Evans, Jason and Nikia Ritter; and his close friend Deacon Simpson. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the New Bethlehem Baptist Church (70 Orchard St, New Haven, CT 06519). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at the same location.
