She was predeceased by: her parents, Audie Pompey and Zura Reid Ealey; her husband David Brantley Jr.; her children, David Brantley III and Patricia Gamble; her grandchildren, Christian Bell and Danielle Brantley; her great grandchildren, Arrianna and Aaron Hall; and her siblings, Doris Wilson, Essie, Bernice Pompey, Robert, James Conyers and John Pompey.
She is survived by: her children, Mildred Belton, Delores Brantley of New Haven, CT, Francine Barnes of Greeleyville, SC, Jacqueline, Lucinda Brantley of New Haven, CT and Jack Brantley (Olivia) of Seymour, CT; her brother James Pompey (Ruby) of Kingstree, SC; and her stepsons, Timothy Brantley (Denise) of Atlanta, GA and Alfonzo Edwards of New Haven, CT. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 54 great grand grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
