Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Marguerite Piontek of New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away at the age of 81, on May 26, 2025. Though Marguerite has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Woedtke and Agnes Woedtke. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Piontek (Sue) of Florida, Marguerite Lynch (Michael) of East Haven, Sandra Bowden of New Haven and Patricia Andrade (Scott) of Florida; and her sister Patricia Markunas of New Haven. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home & Cremation Service (43 Kirkham Ave, East Haven, CT 06512).
