Maria Wysowskyj Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on April 30, 2026, at the age of 95, Maria Wysowskyj (New Haven, Connecticut) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Maria leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Maria may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dmytro Bodnar and Warwara Baran Bodnar; and her husband Emil. She is survived by: her daughters, Halyna Wysowskyj (Ihor Sydoriak), Anna Wysowskyj and Christina Wysowskyj (John Lapham); and her grandson Alexander Sydoriak.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Maria's name to St Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church George St. New Haven CT.
