In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Martin had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Martin may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam DeGennaro and Josephine DeGennaro (Cocco); and his son Billy. He is survived by: his sister Deanna Kristopeit; his children, Ann, Sam (Laura), Helen and Ted (Yanela); and his pet Charlie. He is also survived by five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, dozens of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Celentano Funeral Home (424 Elm St, New Haven, CT 06511). A prayer will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
