As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Nancy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Silvestre Caballero and Maria Maldonado; her stepfather Rosario Maldonado; her aunts, Margarita Rosario and Yeya Rodríguez; and her uncle Victor Hernández.
She is survived by: her aunts and uncles, Epifania Vega of North Haven, Rosa Vega of New Haven, Genoveva Hernández of Johnston, RI, Juan Hernández (Carmen) and Pablo Hernández (Nereida) of Vega Baja. She is also survived by many loving cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home (4 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (Blessed Michael McGivney Parish) (397 Ferry St, New Haven, CT 06513).
