He was predeceased by: his parents, Ransom Hill and Catherine Hill; his sisters, Earnestine Perkins and Josephine Brooks; and his sons, Ricky Hill and Hanif Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Elinor Hill; his children, Cindy (James), Tammy, Matthew (Cherie) and Corey Hill; his grandchildren, Daniel, Nakeema, Ramsey, Rickina, Shamiah, Camron, Dakri and Lilly; and his siblings, Geraldine Koonce (George), Ransom (Helen) and Robert (Sharon). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
