She is survived by: her husband Richard Lennon of New Haven, CT; her children, Shameka Smith (Keith) of Waterbury, CT and Marcus Penn of New Haven, CT; her grandchildren, Malachi Campbell of West Haven, CT, Alexia Etheredge of West Haven, CT, Viviana of New Haven, CT. and NuViyah Penn of New Haven, CT.; her sisters, Ernestine Smith of New Haven, CT and Sheila Smith of New Haven, CT; and her friend Brian Douglas of New Haven, CT. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Colonial Funerals (86 Circular Ave, Hamden, CT 06514). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
