It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paul C. Smeltzer in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul L. Smeltzer and Anna Smeltzer (Croushore); his wife Madaline Smeltzer (Smith); and his son-in-law Michael Biondi. He is survived by: his children, Regina Douglass (Donald), Daniel Smeltzer (Janet) and Susan Biondi. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
