He was predeceased by: his parents, Katie Mae McKnight and Robert Williams; his grandparents, Dixie and Joseph McKnight; his siblings, Joseph McKnight and Deanetha McKnight; his aunts and uncles, Napoleon Gates, Ruby McKnight, Rev. McKinley McKnight, Bobby Sand McKnight, Maurice McKnight-Gates, Palmer Lee McKnight and Gwendolyn Gardner; and his nephew Anthony Harrison.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine McKnight; his sons, Andre Brinson of Hartford, CT, Jerome Cushman of New London, CT, Trever Starks, Larry Starks and Kevin Starks; his siblings, Dorothy McKnight, Reanetha McKnight of Hartford, CT, Shawn Williams, Carroll Williams of Jonestown, MS, Sidney McKnight of New Castle, PA, Derrick Williams and Dennis Williams of Jonestown, MS; and his aunt Sarah McKnight of Windsor, CT. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, devoted cousins.
