He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon E. Morris and Rosa Lee Chapelle Morris; and his brother Jonathan Morris. He is survived by: his wife Jenifer A. Wilmot Morris of New Haven, CT; his children, Michelle Burroughs (Terrance) of Hamden, CT, Nicole A. Morris of Washington, DC, Melissa R. Morris of Atlanta, GA and Ronald D. Morris, Jr. of New Haven, CT; his siblings, Jacquelyn Massie of Richmond, VA and Terrence Morris of New Haven, CT; his friend Hannible "Chippy" Julien; and his grandson Saxton.
