With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Nelson (New Haven, Connecticut), who passed away on March 12, 2023 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Moses Nelson and Mildred Joann Nelson; her sons, Michael and James Hunter, Jr.; her siblings, Leana Nelson, Jennifer Nelson, Louis Nelson, Tracia Nelson, Tyler Nelson, Justin Nelson and Kayla Green; her siblings' children, LaShonda Thomas, Jaynine Nelson and Moses Nelson; her grandchild Deandre Nelson; her grandparents, Lilian and Leland Patrick; and her friend Monica Hayward. She was also cherished by 15 grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
