She is survived by: her mother Frances Harper (Howard) of Windsor; her sons, Marcus Byrd, Jr., Martin Byrd (Deana Byrd) and Marvin Byrd (Nekoma Scott-Byrd); her grandchildren, Dominique Samuels, Kiajah Barrow, Marcus Byrd, III, Kelly Byrd, Jasmine Byrd, Marvin Byrd, Jr., Malik Byrd, Sabrea Byrd, Syncear Dawson, Darren Chambers Jr. and Myia Byrd; and her siblings, Jackie Harper of Hartford, Marion Harper of Windsor, Kesha Harper of Windsor, Mattie Henriques (Max) of Manchester and Rhonda Myers of Windsor. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Olive Church (20 Battles St, Hartford, CT 06120). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
