Dr. Doretha Tyson (Willie); children: Marquis Barnes (Asia), AJ Lee Anthony Turner-Thorne, and Arriyah Turner; grandchildren: Antonio Barnes and Adonis Beason; sisters: Yalonda Mitchell and Kim Harris; brothers: Kevin Harris and Kayron Brooks; godparents: Mother Jessie Powell, Deacon Willie and Sister Susie Wilson; godson: Karter McNeil; godbrother: Rev. Joshua Cotton; grandparents (deceased): Trustee Leo Parker and Mother Annie Parker, Johnny and Fannie Brooks; siblings (deceased): Anthony Lee Mitchell; uncles (deceased): Martin Parker, Bobby Parker, and Leo Parker Jr.; godfather (deceased): Bishop Jonathan Powell; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Trinity Temple Church of God in Christ (285 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
