It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susie Ford (New Haven, Connecticut), who passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, French Coleman and Siller Coleman; her husband James Milton Ford Sr.; her son James M. Ford Jr.; her grandson Antwone Ford (Jonquay Morrison); and her siblings, Arsolia Coleman McNeil, Arletha Colvin, Pecolia Coleman, Juliette Bethea, Onietta Ford, Rudolph Coleman of Carson Coleman, F. C, Mcdowell Coleman, Jeff Coleman and Charlie Coleman (Ruby).
She is survived by: her children, Curtis Ford (Ericka), Dena Rena Patton (Maceo) and Susan Monique Ford; her grandchildren, Tymar, Tyquan, Quianna, Eric, Tyrell, Tyrese, Skyelyn, Tyriss, Jeremiah, Justin, Nyree and Trevon; her great grandchildren, Nate, Nehemiah, Skylynn, Tyler, TyQuan Jr., Jesiah, Kasey, Quinn, Johanna, Jahnyla, Makenna and Iyana; her children, Lleighya and Arayseaha; her siblings, John Coleman (Betty), Lucille Bethea, Winifred Lee Strickland and Patricia Webb (James); her sister-in-law Ann Reynolds; and her godson Marquelle Middleton.
