She was predeceased by: her father Lewis Moore; and her brother Barnard Moore. She is survived by: her mother Channie Moore; her husband Cecil Sims; and her siblings, Donna Forde (Percy Forde), Marilyn Myers and Anthony Moore Sr. (Lakiyah Moore). She is also survived by 30 other grandkids through marriage and some nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Matthews Ufwb Church (400 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
