He is survived by: his former wife Patricia Taylor Lewis (Gardner) of Clinton; his sons, Dale Joyner (Clare) of Hamden, Taylor Joyner of Branford and Max Joyner (Kimberly) of Killingworth; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Emily and Avery Joyner; his nephew Brian Woolfolk (Jodie); his great-niece Breana Woolfolk; his nieces, Deirdre Haizlip Celotto (Mario) and Melissa Haizlip Wildman (Don); and his great-niece Dr. Betty Cobbs (Zeb) of Seattle.
