It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan J. Mayer of New London, Connecticut, born in Woodmere, New York, who passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Muriel Mayer and Joseph Mayer; and his wife Gail Schwenker Mayer. He is survived by : his sons, Ken (Amy) and David (Amy); his stepson Andrew (Nancy); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alison, Charlie, Henry, Norah, Aidan and Asher; his brother Jack (Ellen); and his pet Monty.
