With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Amparo Dominguez of New London, Connecticut, who passed away on May 12, 2026 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Amparo shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Amparo farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Guillermo Vargas and Carmen Reyes Vargas; her daughters, Luz Dominguez of Uncasville and Wanda Dominguez-Watts of Norwich; her grandchildren, Ariana, Briana, Darren Carter, Michael and Matthew Watts; and her brothers, Felix, Efrain and Hector Dominguez. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Byles Memorial (99 Huntington St, New London, CT 06320).
