Elida Antonia De La Rosa Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elida Antonia De La Rosa (New London, Connecticut), who passed away on October 15, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Rowe and Arnulfo De La Rosa; her siblings, Anita Rubel, Arnulfo M. De La Rosa, Alberto Howe and Louis Marshall Atherton; and her son Leonardo Stoute.
She is survived by: her children, Debrah Freeman (Calvin), Melida Stoute, Sandra Peoples (Roderick), Denise Amos, Randy Stoute, Timothy Stoute (Linda) and Harvey Stoute (Margaret); and her sister Bienvenida Magee. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas L Neilan and Sons Funeral Home (12 Ocean Ave, New London, CT 06320). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home (12 Ocean Ave, New London, CT 06320). An entombment will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at the Saint Mary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
