She was predeceased by: her parents, Efraín Rivera Valentín and Migdalia Hernández Nieves; her children, Yajaira Y. Vega Rivera (Juan), José J. Muñiz Rivera and Joshian Y. Muñiz Rivera; and her stepgrandchildren, Leiliany, Ariana, Natalee, Jadiel, Greyson, Kalia and Nora.
She is survived by: her husband Manuel Perez; her stepchildren, Wendy Reyes, Coralys Perez Millbury (Ryan) and Janice Perez-Rivera (Shawn); her siblings, Sonia, Efraín (Mildred), Joel (Nancy) and Johnny (Ileana); her stepsister Evette Nieves; her siblings' children, Efraín "Franky" Rivera-Olán, Jonathan Rivera-Olán, Kelvin Rivera-Olán, Joel J. Rivera Quintana Britney, John A. Rivera González, Jason Rivera González, Anthony Rivera González and Ramón Y. Méndez; her aunt Isabel Hernandez of Nieves; and her uncle David Hernandez.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lester Gee Funeral Home (108 Blinman St, New London, CT 06320). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
